EG Capital has refined the geographic scope of the fund to the Eastern African region with Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania as primary markets, and secondary market in Zambia.
The demographic trends in these countries provide the impetus for sustained, consumer-driven economic expansion. Income levels are projected to rise significantly and expand the region’s already burgeoning middle class.
In addition, improving education and increased political stability across the region will allow the region’s service sector to continue to grow and match the Increased consumer spending.
